The Great Northwoods of Wisconsin is a place of majestic natural beauty, warm and friendly people, and for our family, cherished memories.
These memories inspired us to try to create a little bit of Wisconsin here in Crete, Illinois in 1998.
"Hearty" meals like those that we were served at Grandma's table in Three Lakes, Wisconsin found a place on our menu and the warm setting of logs, knotty pine and rustic Wisconsin lodge decor found spots everywhere else.
It is a comfortable setting that takes us back and, thankfully we've found we're not alone.
We've enjoyed sharing countless stories with others who have their own special Up North memories.
For those who have not been to The Great Northwoods of Wisconsin, we invite you to come in, sit back, and just enjoy yourselves.
